The Old Servant's Quarters is open all year

The Old Servant's Quarters wing of the house is available to book separately as a self catering unit.

This is a small and simple but comfortable 2 bedroom annex with its own bathroom, kitchen and lounge.  

It is accessed via its own door from the garden and has everything you need for a short break.

Room 1 - Double bed with north facing views.

Room 2 - Either a super king or twin depending on your requirements. Garden views.

As these rooms were designed for staff back in 1865, it has lower ceilings, smaller windows and a steep narrow staircase up to the rooms. This makes it unsuitable for anyone with mobility problems, small children and very large suitcases.

Guests have access to our beautiful garden and BBQ facilities. And if you're feeling competitive there is a croquet set available. 

Please also note it has a microwave oven and plug in cooking hob (see pictures) but not a proper oven. Luckily there are lots of places locally to get a great meal. 

We provide bread, butter, cereal, milk, OJ, tea, cafetiere coffee plus most cooking basics.

Unfortunately no dogs permitted. 

£100/night for 2 people. £25/ppn for extra guests. Discount for 4 nights or more.   

Minimum 2 nights, maximum 10 nights.

Payment: 50% deposit required to secure bookings of more than 5 days. An invoice will be sent via email. 

Deposit fully refundable if cancelled at least 2 weeks before your stay (otherwise at owner's discretion).
